Swimming Lessons

 

In-term swimming lessons are typically run over a two week period and are held at the

Learning Areas   following times throughout the year: Pre-Primary to year 3 in December and years 4 to 7 in February.  
    

There is no cost for the lessons however parents do pay the shire for their child's entry to the pool.

Library   Families with a "season pass" to the pool do not pay for their child's entry.  
School Events   Sporting Carnivals  
Sport is an important way of developing a spirit of cooperation, participation and friendly competition.
Links   Such spirit also develops a sense of self and school pride. Traditional school carnivals are conducted in  
the following terms:

  • Term 1: Faction swimming carnival - years 4-10 and the interschool swimming carnival.
  • Term 3: Faction athletics carnival - years 1-10 and the interschool athletics carnival.
 
In addition, special clinics (football, tennis, cricket and hockey) are also conducted over the course of
Photo Gallery   the year. Interschool carnivals are with Williams Primary School and Darkan District High School.  
Choose Respect Year 6/7 Camp 2007
The Year 6 and 7 classes participate in a 5 day school camp every two years. In 2007, students
travelled to Geraldton. The next camp will be in 2009.
Bibbulmun Track 3 Day Trek
This high school event takes place at the end of Term 2 every year. Click here to read recounts from

Year 9/10 Canberra Study Tour 2007
In September 2007, 25 Year 9 and 10 students participated in a study tour of Canberra as part of
