Choose Respect
  • The physical, social and emotional wellbeing of each child is promoted through our CHOOSE RESPECT framework.

  • Teaching practices encourages students to take responsibility for their own learning.

  • Parents and teachers work together for the benefit of the child.

  • Students should be actively involved in the community with such activities as Tidy Towns, Rodeo Weekend, Art Council Exhibitions, WaterWise, SaltWatch, Horticulture projects, skate park and tank painting and the Cleaner Water in Drains project.

Parents are very committed to work with us to improve learning outcomes  across all learning areas. The P&C

annually raises an enormous amount of money to improve our facilities and also supports the school in other

ways such as the  Uniform Shop, Canteen, Bus Committee, Grounds Committee and School  Council.

The Parent Support Partnership Initiative (PSPI) (formerly ASSPA) is another very supportive group. Every year the PSPI organise a fantastic NAIDOC involving all the school and volunteer parents and relatives of the Aboriginal students. PSPI actively support our Noongar students by organising Book Club at lunch time, ensuring students are punctual and have all the requirements to access their education.

Local groups such as the CWA, Lions and Boddington Shire are actively involved in school programs such as Choose Respect, the Leeuwin adventures, supporting incursions and providing prizes and scholarships at our annual Presentation Night.

Local businesses and individuals are also extremely generous in providing scholarships, prizes and donations for such activities as Presentation Night and other special events.
